The artist sands, flame paints and applies melted metal in a fashion that can only be described a poetry in motion. The hammered textures and the muted rainbow of colors that emerge from the copper surface is enhanced by your choice of indoor lighting. No two pieces are alike.

Is it just me or does the embellishment on these pieces look like poetry? I imagine writing a love letter or words of affirmation across the surface of each piece as I melt the metal over the copper.
These were made from up-cycled tabletops. After 6 hours of forming, flame painting, sanding and hammering each nail by hand, this is what you get.
