The Process

The process of creating jewelry is more complicated than simple but like most things in life you just have to do it.

The motivation to create something new in the world comes from inspiration. When you stop trying so hard and  just create it's easy to recognize that inspiration is at the bottom of every experience and around every corner.

I start most my designs with a drawing. I have this fascination with texture and movement. How will the earrings dangle when worn? How long will they be? I tend to create earrings that are a bit grand. I like it that way.  Lightly brushing against the neck so you know that they are there. They jingle a little too, like a whisper in you ear reminding you that you are a sassy vixen that has earned her space in the world.
